Born in good ol' Springfield, MO.
I am married to my sweet husband Ross. We are the proud parents of two littles — Mitchell and Ellie. Life with little ones is constant and very busy, but they are my world. Ross is my number one supporter. He makes me be a better person and is my soft spot to land. He helps pick up the pieces when I'm teaching and doesn't miss a beat. He is happy that I get to have my own time and something that is my own. I think everyone needs to have their own "thing"...whatever that may be. It's important to serve yourself as much as it is to serve others.
WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT PHYSIQUE FITNESS?
Oh my... this question is hard because there is just so much to say. I have the best job in the world. I get to spend my time with the best clients (without a doubt the very BEST clients) sweating, smiling. Everyone is bursting with positive energy. They have such enthusiasm to push themselves past their comfort level time and time again. I'm honored people want to come spend their free time working out with us. My coworkers- my fitness family- make my life, my job and my days better. I see them as much if not sometimes more than my own family. There is always laughter, hugs and a happy place that even my kids get excited to go. Last but not least... Obviously getting to go to work in yoga pants isn't a bad gig.
Hands down, avocado. I love it! Guacamole, sliced on salads, sandwiches, tacos, anything- it's better with avocado. I also have a small obsession with cilantro. Last but not least: birthday cake. Because a birthday without cake is just a meeting!

Michael Jackson, obviously.
Favorite season is fall — colorful leaves, leggings, layers, boots, fire pits, Chiefs, and pumpkin spice lattes are a few reasons fall is my favorite.
WHAT INSPIRES YOU TO TEACH FITNESS?
Teaching fitness inspires me every day. I love the fact that you are guaranteed to feel better when you walk out the door than when you walked in. Seeing people improve their fitness levels whether they see it or not amazes me all the time. I love being able to be the best part of someone's day. Exercise not only changes your body, it changes your mind, your attitude, and your mood. Spending time with people who also recognize that is just awesome.
